How has the ICTracker performed against the Nifty?

In order to test the performance of the icTracker, we started with a corpus of Rs 1 lakh and constructed a virtual portfolio of 5 stocks based on its recommendations starting from March 2006 onwards. We rebalanced this portfolio every quarter thereafter depending on the recommendation of the icTracker for the quarter. Then we compared the value of this icTracker based portfolio against one purely based on the Nifty and another based on the top performing Mutual fund for the period.

The chart below shows how these three portfolios have performed from March 2006 onwards.

As seen above, over the long term, the icTracker portfolio has outperformed the Nifty by a whopping 376% and the top performing Mutual fund by an amazing 247%.
